Since its foundation, the society has been fully recognized as a partner society and regularly cooperated with the TOTBİD (Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) in various scientific activities of symposiums, hip arthroscopy courses, cadaver courses on adult and pediatric hip, webinars and live surgeries. The society is an academic membership organization that currently has 90 active members, comprising well-known orthopaedic surgeons, physical therapists and scientists whose practice and research orientation mainly focused on hip preservation. Many are internationally recognized opinion leaders, mentors, researchers, and educators, but society recruits young members at all career stages as a dynamic scientific force.
Today, with over 10 years of leading performance, Turkey's Society of Preventive Hip Surgery has emerged as a significant educational organization for the benefit of patients and its members.
